UV-sensing marker

The Smarker is a UV-sensing marker that changes colour when you are at risk of getting sunburnt. The Smarker is a skin-safe marker that uses photochromic pigment powder mixed in a water-based solution to change colours when exposed to a harmful amount of UV light. The ink is applied to the skin - only a dot is needed. It is clear until enough UV light hits it - then it changes to an easy-to-see blue colour. When you see the colour, it’s time to reapply. It’s waterproof (with included wipes) and reusable.

For different skin tones, there are four variations of the Smarker. Differences in skin colour are highly related to how quickly someone should reapply sunscreen. Each variation has a different ratio of UV sensing ink, allowing the blue colour to appear at different times.

The Smarker has the power to save your skin, one swoosh at a time.
